We are just over a week away from our Kick-Off Sunday!  Starting next Sunday, September 16, Iron City Church will be meeting every week at 10 AM in the North Allegheny Intermediate High School.  I’m so excited that I can’t stand it.

We went today to the McCandless Community Day to make some contacts and get the word out.  We were able to give away 500 cold bottles of water, hundreds of pens, and hundreds of packets of info about ICC.  On top of that, we had hundreds of amazing conversations with people who don’t do church as they’ve known it, but were hungry to find out all about what we’re doing.

Besides today, we’ve been getting some great response from our advertising campaign and I can’t wait to see what God does next week.  I can’t wait to hear the band rocking the house next Sunday morning.  I can’t wait to stand up and share the message that God has been forming in me for months now.  I can’t wait to see all the folks that take the risk to come check us out as they hang out and spend time getting to know their neighbors in the Cafe.  I can’t wait to see the smiling faces of the children as they come out of Iron City Kids after enjoying their time at church.  But most of all, I can’t wait to see how God uses our efforts to draw men, women, and young people to Himself.
