I know I’ve been quiet for a while.  Sorry.  I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth or been abducted by aliens — just haven’t made the time to post anything in a while.

I am not the kind of pastor/preacher that uses my position to endorse political candidates (like anyone would listen to me about that anyway), and I don’t think that’s my calling by any means.  So please take this as a disclaimer that the following is not at all such a thing — just an interesting tidbit from the web.

I just saw a video clip of Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee’s response to a debate question that boldly, intelligently, and respectfully shares where he stands.  The ordained minister from Arkansas breaks down what he believes in an honest and clear fashion that is often absent in the realm of politics.  I guess someone forgot to tell him that politics and religion don’t mix…
